Turkmenistan to build $1.9 billion sports complex

ASHGABAT -- The Turkmen government announced September 4 plans to build a US $1.9 billion Olympic City sports complex in the capital, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported September 6.
The project will include 30 athletic facilities, including a 60,000-seat football stadium. Turkey's Polimeks is the contractor.
