TTP to continue attacking Pakistani forces

PESHAWAR – The Pakistani Taliban vowed to continue attacking the country’s security forces and warned civilians to avoid proximity with them, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Azam Tariq told media by telephone.

The spokesman said the Taliban were targeting Pakistani security forces because the government had allowed foreign forces to attack the Taliban.

Tariq claimed responsibility for the suicide attack on a police station in Lakki Marwat that killed 19 people, including 3 children, Dawn reported. Tariq said he "regretted" the deaths of the children.
