KOHAT – At least 18 people, including policemen, women and children, were killed and more than 50 were injured in a car bombing that targeted a police headquarters in Kohat, September 7, media reported.

Six policemen were among the dead, according to the top administrative officer of Kohat, Khalid Khan. The victims were women and children who were breaking their fast in the garrison centre, Dawn reported, citing police.

Six children and four women also were killed, Dawn reported.
