Kyrgyz arrest organised-crime suspect

CHUI OBLAST, Kyrgyzstan – Kyrgyz police have arrested organised-crime suspect Almazbek Sulaymanov (aka Limonti), AKIpress.org reported September 2.
Sulaymanov is being held in connection with the April 20 kidnapping in Bishkek of V. Shatenko, the theft of his car and extortion of US $1m in exchange for his release, Interior Ministry official Abdirayim Dzhumashayev told AKIpress.
