ASHGABAT – President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov presided September 1 over the opening of seven medical buildings that cost more than US $160m to construct.

One building is at the Turkmen State Medical University, while the other six are in the Treatment and Prophylactic Centre for Infectious Diseases. The new facilities will treat skin and venereal diseases, tuberculosis, AIDS and other ailments. Turkey’s Polimeks built them all.
