Punjab hill torrents hit bus, kill 15

LAHORE - At least 15 people were killed when a passenger bus was swept away by hill torrents in the Dera Ghazi Khan district of southern Punjab August 23, media reported.
The Karachi-bound bus skidded off the road near Khad Buzdar in Taunsa Sharif. The bus had 50 people on board, mostly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, BBC Urdu reported.
Authorities confirmed at least 15 deaths. They rescued ten passengers, but the rest were missing and were being sought, the local emergency rescue service told media.
