TASHKENT -- In continuing play August 22 for the Uzbek championship, FC Bunyodkor tied and FC Pakhtakor won.

On the road, Bunyodkor played FC Andijan to a scoreless tie. Bunyodkor won the Uzbek Cup last week. At home, Pakhtakor defeated FC Shurtan of Guzar 2-0.

Bunyodkor still sits atop the championship standings with 45 points, leading Pakhtakor by 5 points.
