ISI chief gets 1-year term extension

ISLAMABAD -- Lieut-General Ahmed Shuja Pasha, the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), has gained a one-year term extension ahead of his previously planned retirement on March 18, news media reported March 10. Pasha is the fourth lieut-general to have his service extended by the army chief. Pasha became head of the ISI in October 2008.
