Government sets 10% quota for women in civil service

ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani announced March 8 that the government would reserve a 10% quota for female candidates in the country’s elite civil service, aka CSS.
On International Women’s Day, Gilani said the government will also create a women's ombudsman office and establish hostels for working women.
