4 men get life in prison for burying women alive

NASEERABAD -- An Anti-Terrorist Court handed down 25-year prison sentences to four men convicted of burying three women alive in 2008 in Naseerabad District, Balochistan, Jang reported March 9.

The four defendants were Ghous Bakhsh, Rehmatullah, Mir Allah Bakhsh and Mohammad Arif, news media reported.

The defendants buried the women alive on August 31, 2008, in Goth Gorang, Tambo Tehsil. The women died. The defendants had considered the women guilty of "fornication".
