Sarcozy met at the Elysee palace in Paris February 1 to discuss expanding economic and bilateral relations.

According to Turkmenistan.ru, citing Berdymukhamedov’s press service, the two leaders discussed cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, transportation, communications, and other issues. According to the report, the most promising areas for cooperation are electric power generation and the chemical industry.
